Question: what is the relationship between John 3:16 and John 3:14-15?
John 3:14–15 was a pre-curser in the Old Testament (Num. 21:9), of the main event in v.16 etc.!
In vs.14–15; the serpent in the wilderness, was raised up for the Jews to save themselves from the bites of the plague of Snakes; and they lived!
In 3:16; Jesus became the Serpent (Satan, Sin); and all those that look to Him, will be saved; and enjoy eternal life with Him in Eternity!
“For God so loved the world”.
